Parenting Tips and sharing - Sibling Rivalry & Conflicts
Solving Sibling Conflict Problems Among Your Kids
If you are a parent who had seen your children fight and quarrel, you would understand that it is one of the saddest feelings any parent can feel. Let us know how you react
or how you handle the situation to stop the argument, fighting and bickering among your children. Is such heavy competition between children normal and if not, what is the cause of such behavior? Let us know what you think about sibling rivalry and conflicts.
I think most parents will naturally react by trying to stop the fighting kids by scolding and nagging. Personally I had not encounter such a situation myself because I only have one child. But I read somewhere that we should start the training or teaching the kids when they are not busy fighting with each other. To try to lecture them at the heat of the moment will be of no use whatsoever.

I agree with you Evelyn. No sense trying to tame the bulls when they are in the rage. However, I also feel that we must not wait too long before explaining to them what is right or wrong and that what they did was unacceptable. I think the longer we wait, the harder it is for the kids to relate their actions to what we teach them.
