Playing Games

Children enjoy playing games. When properly designed, games can provide all the physical benefits and at the same time meet the social, emotional, and cognitive needs of children.

Research shows that anything learned with drilling and tension often gets flushed out from memories pretty soon and anything that learned through fun play lifts our spirits and opens our minds and hearts. It is in this state that we are most open to new experiences and knowledge.

I will like to share some simple fun games you can play with your children in my coming posts and also in our newsletters. I will also be sharing how to make your family own games and educational toys using local and recyclable materials. Do visit us again or subscribe to our newsletters for tips on fun games you can play with your children.

“From the very beginning of his education, the child should experience the joy of discovery. ~ Alfred North Whitehead
